People who form LAG are trying innovative and new ways to solve some of the problems that beautiful and hidden mountain region Gorski kotar is facing. By using LEADER methodology for development of rural regions – which has been successfully applied in the EU during the past years- we will try to discover new development prospects for Gorski kotar.
The possibility lies in using LEADER fund which has been set up by the EU in order to bolster development of the EU’s rural regions. We are trying to connect and gather as many as possible inhabitants of Gorski kotar and to create a positive atmosphere wherein through cooperation and communication each of the participants will work on creating a better future for Gorski kotar region.
