The members of the Local action group

  • President of the LAG: Petar Mamula, Croatian agency for agricultural advising, Vrbovsko

Petar is a member of an NGO too and thinks how coordination of the work of different NGOs could also contribute to sustainable development of Gorski kotar

  • Vice-president: Siniša Lakota, Creator.d.o.o. Prezid

Siniša believes how development of small enterprises can play a huge role in development of Gorski kotar region. He wants to create conditions which will enable young people to stay in Gorski kotar.

  • LAG secretary: Nina Vinski, Entrepreneurial Center Vrbovsko

Nina is presenting both the town of Vrbovsko and Entrepreneurial Center Vrbovsko where she is director. As a young and capable person, she wants to contribute to positive developments.

  • Alojz Litanj, the president  NGO of town Delnice

Alojz is a representing marginalized minority of Gorski kotar. He thinks that creating new working places is essential for sustainable development of rural regions.

  • Bruna Crnković-Arbanas, Eko art – Bio art, Lokve

Bruna has experience in working on different projects and in volunteering. She believes that through carrying out of good ideas by different NGOs, young people can be motivated to stay in Gorski kotar

  • Dalibor Šoštarić, The center for hill-mountain agriculture, Stara Sušica

Dalibor is aware of the importance of Center’s getting involved in different development initiatives and this motivates him in his work.

  • Ernest Cukrov, Regional development agency Porin, Rijeka

What Ernest adds to the LAG is a different way of viewing things, a wider perspective and years-long experience of working on international projects.

  • Igor Bukovac, representative of the municipality Skrad

Igor is a motivated member of LAG who keenly helps with LAG activities.

  • Katarina Ožbolt Malnar, representative of the town Čabar

Providing conditions for young families to stay in Gorski kotar region was Katarina’s initial motivation when she was elected to join the LAG as a member of NGO Trbuhovica. This NGO has already successfully implemented several project. Katarina also works in civil administration of town Čabar on regional and international projects.

  • Lidija Mihajlović, representative of Town Delnice

Lidija is a trainee in the town administration of Delnice. She believes that by acquiring new skills during project related work she will be able to achieve more in her profession.

  • Nevenka Jerbić, organization Borovica, Skrad

Nena is an active member of organisation Blueberry, she is growing raspberries and she is also a member of folklore association.

  • Radmila Kus, Association Vunarice Gorskog kotara, Mrkopalj

Radmila is a manager of a group of wool making women of Gorski kotar. Thanks to her, this organisation, Mrkopalj and Gorski kotar became more recognisable to wider public. Radmila is a hardworking person who also works with disabled and she is a great asset to the LAG Gorski kotar.

  • Sandra Okanović, Craft Ksandi, Lokve

Sandra is another member of the LAG who represents two organisations. Sandra joined LAG as a representative of business sector and at the same time she was employed by the municipality of Lokve. Sandra believes that anyone can – with his work – give a valuable contribution to development of his local community.

  • Sanja Čop, representative of Municipality Lokve

Sandra believes that by working in the office of municipality administration she can give a valuable contribution to development of her local community.

  • Svjetlana Kasunić, Cooperative Gorski kotar, Mrkopalj

Svjetlana is a very active person who strives to achieve more. Svjetlana invests a lot of effort in everything what she is doing and she believes that education on developing and financing projects together with education of entrepreneurs must result in overall development.

  • Tea Bujan, representative of the Municipality Fužine

Tea is representing the municipality Fužine and she is a proof how one can contribute to the work of the LAG Group with the knowledge and skills gained by working for the local government unit.

  • Zvonimir Mužević, Association of Craftmen of Town Vrbovskog

In private and business life, Zvonimir is motivated by the thought of development of crafts and society in general.

  • Tea Štih, Trade Wool, Lokve

This young entrepreneur who grew up in an entrepreneurial environment would like to see the development of entrepreneurship which would enable young people to find work and stay in Gorski kotar region.

  • Zdenka Fabac, Association Women of Kupa, Vrbovsko

Preserving and spreading of traditional values together with teaching different age groups about it is the biggest motivation for Zdenka in her work.

  • Renata Brajdić, Representative of the Municipality Brod Moravice
  • Miljenko Gašparac, Public facility NP Risnjak

As experienced project manager in the public facility of the National park Risnjak, Miljenko acknowledges the importance of space in projects for sustaibalbe development and he also sees how NP can play a big role in it.

  • Anica Komlenić, OPG Tići, Vrbovsko
  • Ilija Mrvoš, OPG Mrvoš, Vrbovsko

With his membership in the Group, Ilija will try to contribute to modernisatin of agriculture and livestock breeding in Gorski kotar.

  • Blažica Sveticki, Kota d.o.o. Ravna Gora

Blažica joined the Group a bit later than the others. She has a broad life experience and she is the only representative of Ravna gora in the LAG.

  • Ivan Butković, Mayor of the Municipality Mrkopalj

Ivan believes that prosperity of each of the Local government units in closely connected to economic development. Although, due to his obligations as a mayor, he can not participate in all meetings of the LAG, Ivan is closely monitoring and giving contribution to the work of the Local action group
